In the begginning jack and ashley saw a alligator.Inside the canal at Everglades National Park in Florida, they saw the alligator floating around.Assuming the alligator would've ate the duck.So Ashley advised Jack to take a picture of the action.Although Ashley didn't want to see the animal get eaten so she was going to warn the duck so he would be ate.

The relationshipbetween Ashley,Bridger and Jack is good.all of them listen to each others ideas .They work as a group like a team.So i believe they'll save the bird because Ashley wanted the too .I enjoy this book very much so far.
